Prospects to Watch

Not every player worth watching is projected in the lottery. Prospect Watch features guards, wings, and forwards whose physical tools, developmental trajectory, and changing roles make them worth following before mock drafts catch up. These are players building a case — not players who already have one.

About Prospect Watch

The main Draft Prospects page covers the consensus lottery-level players — high school phenoms and elite college freshmen already on every NBA front office radar. Prospect Watch is for a different kind of player. Juniors with expanding roles. Transfers stepping into new systems with more opportunity than they ever had. Physically gifted guards and wings whose tools exceed their current production, whose development arc is the real story. These are players building a case, not inheriting one.

What puts a player here is not projection — it is potential that is visible but not yet confirmed. A downhill scorer who needs to prove his shot. A wing with the length and athleticism scouts covet but whose college setting limited his touches. A transfer whose best basketball may still be ahead of him. Prospect Watch is where TankOdds tracks those players early, before the draft conversation finds them, because the players discovered in October are the ones someone was watching in March.

These are not guaranteed NBA players. Some will get there. Some will become the best player in a G League city and never get the call. The point is that the raw material is real, and that is worth following. As cards and profiles are completed, new players will be added to this section. For the consensus top-of-the-board prospects, see the 2026 NBA Draft Prospects page.
